My name is Mrs. Kanyo and I teach Seventh and Eighth Grade Music Technology and Sixth Grade Computers. Watch this spot for what is going on in each subject area!

ALL CLASSES HAVE RECEIVED A CONTRACT THAT NEEDS TO BE SIGNED BY A PARENT OR GUARDIAN AND RETURNED BY AUGUST 28TH. This contract is worth 100 points and counts as a major test. Each day the contract is late will result in 10 points deducted from the 100 points. Easy A!

SEVENTH AND EIGHTH GRADE MUSIC TECHNOLOGY
These students are learning our three software programs: 
Music Ace...a music theory program. Students will work on 1 or 2 Sessions per  week.
M1LE...piano software. Students will play a piano piece each week.
Acid Pro...sound loop software. Students will create projects every two or three weeks.

SIXTH GRADE COMPUTERS
These students are learning our software programs:
All the Right Type...a program whereby students learn to type correctly.
Microsoft Word...a word processing program.
PowerPoint...presentation software.
Paint...a program where students can draw and create pictures.

MORE GOOD STUFF!
We are looking for students who wish to participate in creating our Video Announcements. Students should be of great academic standing, be interested in techie things and be free at Flex time.

MUSICAL!
Our musical is Fiddler on the Roof, JR ! Auditions will be held on September 3rd for those who signed up at the info meeting. Students will be informed at the audition if they are to come to callbacks which are September 4th from 3:30-5:30.
